What you need to get started

1. HomeMate Smart IR Blaster must be added on the HomeMate Smart App.
2. Phone must be connected to 2.4 Ghz WiFi network only (and not 5 Ghz).
3. Location should be ON.
4. Mobile Bluetooth should be ON.

Download app and Register account

1. Download HomeMate Smart App from App Store or Google Play.

       - You can scan the QR code below to download the HomeMate Smart App：

          You can also search “HomeMate Smart” in either App Store or Google Play to install the App.

      2. Open App and register your account.

      3. Create Home in Home Management Setting.

      4. Set location.

ADDING A REMOTE ON SMART IR

1. Tap on "Add Remote Control"
   
   
   
   
2. Select your product from the category
   
   
   
   
3. Then Select the Brand 
   
   
   
   
4. Now you need to tap on the remote buttons to check if your product is responding with the current configuration then tap on "Select this one", if not responding tap on "Next one" to check next Remote Configuration.
   
   

DIY METHOD TO PROGRAM THE REMOTE

1. Tap on "Add Remote Control"
   
   
   
   
2. Tap on "DIY" 
   
   
   
   
3. Select your product, if the product is not listed tap on "Custom"
   
   
   
   
4. It will open a remote and you need to program your original remote. To program original remote long press the corresponding button for 2-3 seconds then you need to physically press the same function button on the original remote.
   
   
   
   
5. Then tap on "Done" to save the Remote Settings.

DIY WITH CUSTOM METHOD TO PROGRAM THE REMOTE

1. Tap on "Add Remote Control"
   
   
   
   
2. Tap on "DIY" 
   
   
   
   
3. Scroll down then select "Custom Type"
   
   
   
   
4. After reading the instructions tap on "Next Step"
   
   
   
   
5. You need to program your original remote. You need to physically press the same function button on the original remote pointing towards the Smart IR from 3-4 cm away.
   
   
6. It will show detected signal when you press the function button on the original remote. You can name it.
   
   
   
   
7. Same way you can add available function buttons on the Smart IR using the Original Button.
   
   
   
   
8. Then tap on "Save" to save the configuration or click on "Continue to add more functions.
   
   
9. You can operate the product using these button through Smart IR Blaster.
10. If you click on "Edit" you will see different options.
    
    
    
    
11. To Edit the learned key and to delete the Function Buttons.
